    • It takes 1-3 business days to process passports.
    • Passports are shipped via 1-2 Day delivery with tracking.
    • Reserve your passport date no later than 14 days before your departure date.
    • Reserve 28 days before the departure date if a Foreign visa is required.

     

    1.) Provide a Photocopy of Both Front and back of your Driver's license or State ID

    • If your ID was issued in the last 6 months you must provide 2 or more acceptable secondary IDs. Please click below for examples.

    2.) Evidence of Citizenship

    • Valid and undamaged U.S. passport (can be expired)
    • Original or certified copy of U.S. Birth certificate
    • Certificate of Naturalization

    3.) Passport Fees

    • Must Pay By Check or Money Order
    • $209.53  Payable to the "U.S. Department of State" for the U.S. Passport.
    • OR
    • $239.53  Payable to the "U.S. Department of State" for The Passport Book and Card
    • 1-2 day shipping is included with fees

    4.) Passport Photo's

    • 2 x 2 In color
    • No Glasses
    • Taken in the last 6 months
    • In front of a plain white or off-white background
    • Neutral facial expression
    • Both eyes wide open
    • No hat or head covering that obscures the crown or hairline

    5.) Confirmed Travel Plans - Print 2 Copies

    • Hold the extra copy of travel plans for Prompt Passports
    • Print confirmation flight itinerary emailed to you by your travel provider
    • Hotel Reservations (Only excepted when driving across the border)
    • Business travelers ( Provide a Letter on company letterhead stating your emergency travel needs.

    6.) Letters of Authorization

    • Print two Letters of Authorization
    • Hold the extra copy for Prompt Passports
    • Complete by hand with a pen.
    • This form permits us to submit your passport

    7.) Passport Application

    • Print 2 Copies
    • Hold the extra copy of the application for Prompt Passports
    • After finishing your application, remember to print it out.
    • Do not sign your application it must be signed in front of the Passport acceptance agent.

    9.) Statement of a Lost/Stolen Passport (FORM DS64)

    • If the (DS64) did not print out with your application, please print and complete it by hand.

  • 2nd Process Get Your ID Verified

    You need to have your ID verified by a "Passport Acceptance Agent."

    Before meeting the passport agent, make sure to collect all the necessary items for your passport. These items range from number #1 to #9.

    • This process usually takes 10-20 minutes
    • They are located at designated Post offices and County Clerk's offices
    • You must schedule this appointment to have your ID verified within 7 days of your passport submission date
